When you don't use shampoo, wear a shower cap to keep your color-treated hair from getting wet while taking the shower as this can fade your hair color. You can also make a loose bun or a ponytail protect it from the water.
However, you can use color-safe dry shampoo in-between days to get a fresh look.
The best way to use dry shampoo is by flipping your strands over and spray the shampoo at the roots to absorb the excess oil.
Hot oil treatment is best for hair growth at least once a week. Apply oil and keep it overnight and wash off in the next morning using a mild shampoo.
NB - After heating the oil, allow some time to cool it before applying to your strands. Massage the oil gently into the scalp and cover your locks with a plastic wrap or shower cap.
