Care For The Animals in Islam

Care for the animals in Islam. Islam is the most practised religion in the world. It has the guidance of all peoples. Its guidance is not confined to the people of same race, caste colour or creed. It has the complete code of life.

Islam is the only religion of the world how cares for all the creation of the Allah Almighty. No other religion then Islam has put the stress on the care of the animals. The care for animals is described by the Allah as well as the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H), are as follows.

As Allah says in Quran as follows,

"They are not the just animal on earth or the creature which flies on their wings. They are a community like you and they will appear to Allah on the day of Judgement".

By the above verse we came to know that the animals are also like us they also have a family for which they care and provide the food and shelter to their newly born and make them able to survey in the world. So we must not hunt them for sports or capture them.

Explaining the care, love and the kindness of the animals the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said many times as follows,

It has been reported that ones the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said as follows,

"Whoever will be merciful to the animals even to a sparrow, Allah will be merciful to him on the day of Judgement."

In another place, it has been reported that ones the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said as follows,

"A good deed is done to the animals is like to do a good deed done to the Human. And an act of cruelty done with an animal is as bad as cruelty to a Human being."

As we can see from the above hadiths that we must be kind to the animals so that we may get the help from Allah Almighty and doing well at is equivalent to do a good deed with the people and vice-versa. In the time of Dark Age, people used to do many kinds of torture to the animals like they slaughter them with less sharp knifes you to cut the parts of their body and eat they used to overload the camels.

So the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) banned such activities and said many hadiths regarding it which are as follows,

"Fear Allah in these beasts that cannot speak."

It has been reported that ones the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) as follows,

"Slaughter your animals with the sharp knife and slaughter them in such a way that they will not have much pain."

In another place, it has been reported that ones the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said as follows,

"Do not cut off the parts of animals no doubt it is a great sin."

He also said as follows,

"Do not to overload your camels. If you do you commit the sin."

As we can see from all the above-mentioned hadiths the care for the animals in Islam. Look how much great is the religion Islam it has the guidance of all and care for all even for the animals. We must thank Allah to make us born into the Islamic family and bestowed this great religion on us. So we must pilgrim to Mecca and thanks for everything nowadays going to Umrah is much easier and cheaper so book Umrah visa for February and don't waste time for thanks to Allah.
