Why we Celebrate Eid-ul-adha? And What is Its Message?
Islam has the complete code of Life and guidance for all Peoples. There are two occasions or you can say festivals in Islam in a year. Muslim used to celebrate them with the great energy and happiness. Muslims used to wait for this festivals eagerly. As it gives happiness and has many blessings. One of them is Eid-Ul-Adha. It is also known as big Eid in Islam or "Sacrifice feast". It is in the month of Dhul-Hajj and celebrated on the day of 10 Dhul-Hajj.
It is the commonly asked question by the Muslims that why we celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha? And what is its Message? Or what is the reason behind the celebration of Eid-Ul-Adha? For them today I came with an answer! That why we celebrate this Eid.
To give you the answer to it let me take you to the Sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S). Eid-Ul-Adha remind us the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) when we agreed to sacrifice his beloved son for the will of Allah and his Happiness. It was nothing but a testation for the Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S). When he was about to sacrifice him Allah sent a goat and order him to sacrifice it.
After this Allah Almighty said as follow,
"On this day Muslims will come to this place and do what Ibrahim did and do sacrifice in the name of Allah and go to the place where Ibrahim and his son preaches."
These are the reason why Muslim celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha it is for the remembrance of Hazrat Ibrahim. The massage which the Eid-Ul-Adha gives is as follow,
Get rid of Wealth:
When a person does the sacrifice in the name of Allah he gets rid of the love for Money. Because buying of cattle is very expensive and a person spends a huge amount of his wealth and buy the cattle to make him Happy and distributes his meat to the poor and needy. So that Allah will bless him with more.
Care for Others:
When a person does sacrifice do make Allah Happy. He then distributes the meat to the peoples who are needy and poor so that they may be able to get the meat and get their hunger fill. These give a feeling of the care for others.
These are the message which Eid-Ul-Adha gives us. As Hajj is obligatory in this month. In this month people used to go and perform Umrah and Hajj. Muslims used to go there and do sacrifice. It is the wish of a person to perform Umrah. Now performing of Umrah in this month has become easy because online Umrah visa UK is easier to get and apply.
