Eligibility criteria for Indian Students


▪ 12 years of full-time school education.

▪ Minimum 50-55% in Std. 12th

 Usually above 60% for a Bachelor's Degree, however high ranked universities require 70% and above

▪ Minimum 65% aggregate in Bachelors whereas most of the high ranked universities require

70% and above as well

▪ 16 years of full-time education is necessary for Masters in technical streams like Engineering,

Pharmacy, Computer Science, etc.

▪ 15 years of full-time education may be acceptable for MBA in some of the universities.

PG Diploma

▪ Minimum 50-55% of Bachelor's degree

▪ 15 years of education is accepted for all PG Diplomas in community colleges.

▪ Specific subject requirements like Mathematics may also exist for some programs.

English Language requirements

The certificates accepted by the universities in Canada for English Language Proficiency are:

▪ For UG Diploma Programs and Bachelor Degrees

TOEFL iBT -A minimum score of 79 accepted by Universities only

IELTS 6.0/6.5 is required.

▪ For Masters and PG Diploma Programs

TOEFL iBT -A minimum score of 88 approved by Universities only

IELTS- 6.5 required

▪ However by and large for SPP Colleges IELTS is compulsory
